The Spirit of Christmas appeal was launched in City Hall on 10th October by Cathaoirleach Michael Doyle, Mayor Joe Malone ,special guest Brian Cody and the new President of Kilkenny Lions Marie Kennedy. With the incredible help of local business Lions aims to raise over €20,000 each year for the less fortunate in our community. More than €850,000 has been raised over the years and 100% of this is goes directly to the charities.
